Sports Orthopaedic Surgery Centre works closely with GPs, specialists, physiotherapists, and other allied health professionals across Taranaki & Whanganui to provide timely, high-quality orthopaedic assessment and surgical care for your patients.

We understand that referring a patient is an extension of your own care for them. Our aim is to make that handover straightforward, keep you informed, and return your patient to you with a clear plan - whether that's surgical management, conservative treatment, or a combined approach.

Dr Ritwik Kejriwal specialises in ACL, knee and shoulder surgery, with expertise in sports injuries and complex knee ligament reconstruction.

He looks after multiligament knee injuries and isolated PCL injuries for the central North Island community. He has a particular expertise in ACL reconstruction including double bundle technique, revision ACL surgery, meniscal repair surgery, patellar stabilisation surgery, shoulder stabilisation surgery and arthroscopic cuff repair. He has a strong research interest in knee and shoulder conditions with multiple international publications.
